I am employed!

I have been so unbelievably frustrated with the whole hiring process. I really wanted to work in Austin, but there was nothing available for LVN's that were just graduating. So, after talking to a friend from class who actually lives right near me, I decided to try Scott and White here in Temple. I met with the nursing recruiter today, who referred me to the Nursing Director for STC 3 and 5. I had my interview, walked around the floors, and then was immediately offered the position!! I am so excited. I can hardly stand it. I am starting work on May 12th. Its just too cool for words. They have a starting pay of $15.18/hour, but with my night and weekend differential I will be banking. Of course, $12/hour would be banking to me :) Now I get to go and sign up for my apartment and all that other wonderful stuff. AUSTIN WATCH OUT...HERE I COME.
